Dr. Tehrani moved to Virginia in September of 2006. Dr. Tehrani is originally from Iran and raised in Turkey. She moved to US in summer of 1996 to continue her post graduate studies in Boston University. After graduating from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine as a general dentist, she continued her studies by completing her residency in the prestigious Prosthodontics program at the same school.

A prosthodontist is a dentist who specializes in prosthodontics, the specialty of esthetic and reconstructive dentistry. The treatment planning and restoration of implants, temporomandibular joint disorders, and rehabilitation of occlusion with prostheses all fall under the field of Prosthodontics.
Of the more than 170,000 dentists in the United States, about 3,200 are Prosthodontists. To become a Prosthodontist one needs to complete a 3 years intense training as a resident, which Dr. Tehrani had completed ranking in top of her graduating class with distinction.
Dr Tehrani is an active member of American College of Prosthodontics, International Congress of Oral Implantology, American Dental Society, Northern Virginia Dental Association as well as many local study clubs. She is also, Invisalign certified and uses this great treatment modality in complementing her comprehensive treatment plans.
